Day 2: Merzouga Desert Exploration and Surroundings

Full day immersed in the Merzouga region with a 4x4 adventure to discover different facets of the desert:
- Visit a nomadic Berber family - warm welcome in a traditional tent to share tea and learn about the traditional way of life of desert inhabitants
- Khamlia village - listen to powerful Gnawa spiritual music with deep roots in sub-Saharan Africa
- Seasonal lake - possible visit to Merzouga's seasonal lake which can attract pink flamingos and other birds when filled
- Sandboarding on the dunes or simply absorbing the profound desert silence
Additional night at your choice: continue at the desert camp or a traditional hotel at the edge of the dunes with improved comfort.
Day 3: Merzouga → Erfoud → Ziz Valley → Midelt → Fes
Recommendation: rise very early to contemplate one last incredible Saharan sunrise - a memorable scene.
