Day by Day Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca - The White City's Majesty
Welcome to Morocco! Pickup from Mohammed V International Airport, port, or hotel.
Visit the impressive Hassan II Mosque with its towering minaret overlooking the Atlantic.
Lunch, then explore the Corniche (coastal promenade).
Overnight in comfortable hotel.
Day 2: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen
Journey north along the Atlantic coast to Rabat, Morocco's capital.

Check into hotel.
Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Cedar Forest – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Sahara

- Visit Cedar Forest home to Barbary macaques
Cross Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass.
View the spectacular Ziz Valley - a river of palm trees stretching for kilometers.
- Arrive at Merzouga Sahara in late afternoon
- Trek by camel to Erg Chebbi (60-90 minutes) timed with sunset
Day 6: Merzouga Sahara – Rissani – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Rise early for spiritual Sahara sunrise.
Breakfast at camp. Return by camel or 4x4 to Merzouga village.

- Discover fossilized marble workshops in Erfoud
- Pass through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves
Lunch.
Drive to Dades Valley with a panoramic stop to see 'monkey fingers' rock formations.

Day 7: Dades Valley – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
- Cross Roses Valley at Kalaa Magouna and Skoura palm groves

How long is the camel trek?
60-90 minutes from the desert edge to camp, synchronized with sunset. Return can be by camel or 4x4.
Can I upgrade the camp?
Yes. Standard camp is comfortable vs ultra-luxury camp with spacious tents, private bathrooms, hot showers and elaborate furnishings.
